I used to play in the Seventh Legion DAoC guild when I was a kid, but it was pre-2003 and not competitive at all. I'm wondering if this has any ties to that or if we're just dealing with coincidental names.

A coincidence. There was another Seventh Legio in Warhammer online also. Those may have been your guys.
